Typical Application:Transmission of data signals in applications such as antenna feed cables or Ethernet backbones where high temperature performance is needed.

The RG142 loss is widely accepted at HF frequencies. Because it is constructed with a silver plated outer conductor this prevents oxidation of the conductor which decreases loss vs time.

 

Best Feature: Lower loss than smaller diameter cable such as RG174, high temperature rating of extruding FEP jacket
